Corporate Direct Care Access Program
Personal Physician Care offers a Corporate Direct Care Access Program on an annual retainer that guarantees a same day or next day appointment with little to no waiting. The plan also covers an annual comprehensive wellness physical exam, annual EKG and a chest x-ray if medically recommended. Up to four blood panels are also included each year. Corporate Direct Care Access Program members may attend Personal Physician Care health and wellness courses for free. Members benefit from having all of their medical care coordinated by Personal Physician Care which has a laboratory and advanced diagnostic testing center onsite. Easily accessed and meticulously maintained electronic medical records are always ready to be sent to specialists or the ER when needed. Moreover, the secure patient portal allows patients access to their medical records and lab results, as well as the ability to request appointments and prescription refills.
Being able to see the doctor right away may result in fewer sick days taken by employees. Additionally, employees may be less exposed to flu germs and other contagious conditions since they are not sitting around in waiting rooms for long periods of time.
This is an excellent option to save on health care costs for many employers and their employees, especially those who have high monthly insurance premiums with deductibles they rarely meet. Many of these companies and their staff who rarely meet their annual deductibles save money on their insurance premiums by switching to a high-deductible plan with a greatly reduced monthly premium, and then enrolling in our Corporate Direct Care Access Program with payment of the annual retainer for easy direct access to their physician without the traditional wait when they need medical treatment. Members also save money by having to pay fewer co-pays to other providers because our physicians are completely capable of treating conditions across multiple specialties. This also means that there is less possibility that tests will be duplicated at additional costs.
Encouraging and maintaining a
healthy workforce can be a difficult task.

Many valued and generally healthy employees occasionally get sick and
need affordable non-emergency access to a good doctor immediately so that they
can return to work as soon as possible. However, this need contrasts sharply
against the requirements many insurers place upon primary care physicians who
contract to be providers with the insurance plans.
Primary care physicians currently are expected to care for very large pools of patients, as many as 5,000 active patients. This results in unavoidable waits, delays, and poor access to care when and where it is needed. The doctors in traditional practice models managing such a large pool of patients simply do not have the time to provide genuine personalized care with preventative medicine. Personal Physician Care limits the number of memberships available in the Corporate Direct Care Access Program in order to ensure that each and every patient will be seen the day and time they need to be seen. However, small pools of member patients, attentive personalized care that only focuses on patient needs, and 24/7, 365 day non-emergency direct access to your physician are not provided by the insurance plans under which most businesses offer. While our physicians will maintain relationships with all insurance programs, allowing for seamless coordination of covered insurance and managed care benefits (pharmacy, hospitalization, etc.), our client services group through its annual membership fees will provide the additional benefits and amenities not covered by insurance, allowing our doctors the time and facilities to do the very best for our members.
